My wife has reliably I formed me that the alarm has been going off a couple of times overnight. The car is stored in a garage and as present isn't used much as I now commute by coach.

Rather than incur any more wrath from inside or outside the house, any pointers?

How's that? Mine locks itself after a while.

I've had moments while I'm washing the car and set the alarm off when trying to get a particularly nasty bug off the front bumper. Solution; unlock the car with a single blip (drivers door unlocks, immobiliser off). THen I carry on for a bit and after a while I hear a clunk and the car central locks itself. I think it also happens if I double click and open both doors.

I think we may have had a potential tea-leaf having a nosey. Turns out both cars went off about 10 mins apart, the the Lotus again about 1 hr later.

Coppers are aware.
