S2 Exige rear spoiler

So I've been desperate to get my hands on an S2 Exige since selling my Elise SC a couple of years ago to move abroad.

I've been looking for a while and have until now been pretty much ruling out the later cars with the updated rear wing. I've seen one in the flesh now and it looks like getting stuff in and out of the boot (small weekend bags etc) would be a bit annoying and could potentially damage the spoiler (unlike the older cars where it's attached to the boot lid).

Sounds like a small issue but I'll be using the car a fair bit. Do any owners have this problem? Any thoughts on this or other practical issues vs a 2008MY Exige (or indeed an Elise) would be appreciated. Thanks!

No issue in terms of what you can fit in the boot. We did Le Mans for 2 with 2 tents, camping chairs etc etc no problem
