Holiday In Southern Ireland

Hello,

I am looking on coming over to Ireland via Rosslaire Ferry routes sometime between September and November with my other half. We will be hoteling and travelling by car. Moving round hotels is the plan, kind of a road trip.

Could people suggest some places to visit and some good roads, if there are any specific attractions if you know of good hotels then that info would be useful too.

When is the weather best in this period and are there any busy dates I should defiantly avoid.

Thanks for all the advice some really good ones there. Had a quick look at hotels today but think we will only pre book every other day, then we can B&B where we want every couple of days.

Thanks for all the replies guys, really helpful, unfortunately the last month has been awkward to say the least, lost job and had lease ended on house! We have a new house to go to but holiday money has gone on moving house!

I will keep this thread bookmarked and hopefully we will get to come over in the Spring.
