ACT Carbon Airbox
Discussion
Hi All,
I have recently purchased an ACT Carbon Air-box, I'm just after a bit of advice around the fitting:
What's best way to drill the Carbon fiber? (start with a small drill bit and work up to the required size, drilling from outside in, using masking tape? (using sharp bits of course))
How did you go about re-connecting the Brake Servo and the Fuel pressure regulator?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks Guys, yes I plan on measuring at least twice and drilling just once!
I think it's like this as there's different brackets for different models, I know last time my T350 was in for a service they changed the bracket from one mounted off the starter motor to one mounted off the engine.

Saw your reply before it was removed, have to say the quailty of this part is excellent.I think it's like this as there's different brackets for different models, I know last time my T350 was in for a service they changed the bracket from one mounted off the starter motor to one mounted off the engine.
Only thing that I will add is if you're fitting it to a Tuscan then put a small strip of soft velcro on the underside of the bonnet to ensure that it doesn't scratch the carbon. Mine was fitted and immediately scratched by the time I picked up the car, and i've seen a few others which have scratches.

YUMMY!!! mine got the ACT carbon trumpets but you can't see them! How much was that work of art?
Just over £1000 fitted inc the internal trumpets. You can just get the airbox for about £150 less but its the trumpets that provide a little extra power mid rangeEdited by shep1001 on Sunday 14th October 20:58
