I'd be interested to hear owners views who have upgraded from a 3.6 to a 4/4.3/4.5.

I have to confess I'm suffering the disease which dictates I want more without actually needing it. I love the way the smaller engine just explodes the car down the road when on cam and just revs so high and freely with that epic rasp, in this respect I don't think I would want more. However it's the lack of low down torque that is starting to bug me, especially since decatting. I don't necessarily want to have to change down everytime I go past a diesel repmobile when the driver decides to put his foot down!

I'm sure the obvious increase in torque and top end power is a given, however how do they 'feel' (and sound) after the 3.6?

Thanks all, just lost a long response to my companies server mad

To summarise, SteveO and Buzz have either of you changed gearing as your driving experiences seem different regarding torque delivery?

jcpg very impressive power curves there. I keep meaning to convert all the at the fly figures to wheel figures so it is easier to compare.

Is there a consensus as to transmission losses, I seem to remember 15%?
