Sensor or ECU fault?

Got an irritating problem with the Tam.
If I take my foot totally off the accelerator pedal and start to decelerate before changing gear, all is well, apart from the change jarring and making me look like a crap driver.
If I lift off just slightly after pressing the clutch the engine revs up significantly during the gear change, which is not good for clutch wear or my nerves at low speed.
She didn't used to do this and it's not a mechanical problem, so any ideas where to look in terms of sensors or ecu?
Which fuse resets the ecu, as I may start there.
