Hi guys,

I've just bought a fiat coupe 20vt with a Clifford alarm on it. It's been playing up and I can't get my head around it. I have the manual and fob, but no pin as the previous owner had no idea how to use it. It may be in the manual but nothing is written on it. Not sure if it has a factory pin written somewhere within the barcode on the manual or something (optimistic).

This is causing an issue because I think it's stopping the fuel pump priming, the car won't start even though it's cranking. The alarm is in valet mode now but I had tried to start it before without it being in this mode. Maybe this has somehow immobilised the car? On the turn of the key no noise is heard at the pump. It could of course coincidently be an issue with the fuel pump but I doubt it. Is anybody knowledgeable with Clifford alarms?

Wouldn't be too bad but there isn't many people in Derby who know their way around these things!

Thanks,

Josh.

if its in valet mode (led on )then the car should work as normal

the secret pin number should be the last 4 digits of the serial number on the brain part thats usualy hidden under the dash /console , but the first owner may have changed it to thier own code
I'll give that a whirl when I finish work, failing that what else can I look at doing?
