The High Performance Course will be running another Young Drivers' Day on the Saturday 29 July 2017. The event is open to full licence holders who are aged 26 years or less, and who are not already graduates of the High Performance Course.

The aims of the day are to:

  • Promote awareness of driving skills at advanced levels
  • Encourage the participants to develop their own skills
  • Have fun
More details are available on the High Performance Course website.

It's been running for many years so you can also find information in previous threads, or ask a question here and someone will be able to help. To pre-empt one question that always gets asked: If you've just outside the age criteria (i.e. late twenties) it may still be worth applying.

The Young Drivers' Day is a single day in Oxfordshire, and the £33 goes towards the cost of room hire and catering. The aim of the day is to encourage younger drivers to explore just how far it's possible to develop on-road driving skills.

If what you see on the day inspires you to work on your driving further, you may end up wanting to complete the full High Performance Course. This typically involves two and a half days of coaching, and unfortunately costs more than £33. wink

Three weeks to go, and time for a thread bump.

There are still places available, so if you're aged up to 26-ish and want to know more about how to realise your potential as a driver, it's time to act.

That's almost 26 - I'd say your chances are good. Best thing to do is to email the organiser via the course website (link is in the first post) and ask.

I'm sure Exiges are very nice and all, but it would have been fun to compare our 540is - has yours gone yet?

They do seem hard to value at the moment - not to worry though, you'll enjoy the day whatever you bring.
