Real XC70 MPG?

I am thinking of buying a 2009 XC70 185bhp. Does anyone have any real experience of the true MPG I am likely to see? My driving is mostly motorway at pretty sensible speeds. Reviews seem to suggest low 30s as an average. I am hoping a lot of Motorway will put it somewhere in the late 30s...am I dreaming?
