V70 Cross Country opinion please

Chaps we need a family utility car for tip runs and times when we need to take liars with us - this is local http://www.a41carsales.co.uk/used-cars/volvo-v70-c... but I have never had a Volvo - are they any good? 4wd issues..?
The car would be used infrequently not daily but weekly at least

We use 2 electric cars all the time now and I have a FX50 infinity sitting unused, we need a petrol car for emergencies but the fx50 is just losing cash. I have a new car on order for feb 2016 so this is to last from selling the fx50 till then and hopefully retain it's value once tarted up - budget is anything really but use us sparse
