Bought my first Volvo, a 2002 V70. It's a 2.4 petrol SE, 165k, with full Volvo service history.
I bought it as a stop-gap for moving house, but can already feel myself wanting to keep it much longer. It's had a few of the key jobs done, such as the throttle module (?).

Among the few toys it came with, was this pop up picnic table - are they unusual, or pretty standard?

More importantly, it appears that the timing belt has only been changed once, back in 2009. Can anyone advise how often it should be done?

Good to know, thanks. So, with 165k on the clock, I have a while yet until the next belt change?
I also have the pop-up booster seats and remote locking. To be honest the interior doesn't look to have led a hard life, so whoever specced the car originally must have had the best behaved children in the world!
