Just made a purchase of a 2002 V70 2.4t. A known issue when I bought it was the abs and traction control lights are on. Now I know these abs ecu's are made of cheese so replacement /repair doesn't bother me.
The only thing niggling is its just had new pads and discs all round - but braking from speed causes a noticeable pull to the left.

Am i better off replacing the ecu anyway on the off chance, or is it likely to be a more traditional issue of a wheel sensor or reluctor ring, or even more basic sticky calliper?

Any thoughts?

Thanks fir that, interesting. If it is a caliper it'll be a front as I have to dial in steering input to counteract the pull.
I'd be surprised if it's wishbones, it's quite a strong pull. It almost feels like one caliper isn't functioning at all.

I think I'll be off to a decent indy
