I'm having a bit of a tyre day today.

I need some new tyres for my V70 (V70 D5 auto) and currently am on my second set of Pirelli P6000's. Overall I've found them pretty good and they've lasted over 15,000 miles each time, but whenever I read a review of them, they get slagged off and today I've read a fair bit about them being pretty poor in the wet.
I find them decent in the dry, ok in the wet, but fairly rubbish in the snow and ice last year.

I've had a search on here for other reviews, but can't find anything. I'm running on 235/45 R17 91Y at the moment.

Can anyone recommend anything else? I'm looking for something that wears reasonably well, is quiet on the motorway and has good dry and wet weather grip...is that too much? Also if anyone recommends a tyre, can you also let me know how it works in cold/winter conditions, as I'm thinking about getting some winter tyres too.

I never really had a problem with the Pirelli's, but after a bit of searching around, went for some Hankook's.
So far so good. The noise on the motorway is better/quieter and the grip seems to be ok.....although in fairness the Pirelli's were on their last legs when I changed them, so anything would give better grip!
