We build hyrail vehicle (road vehicles that can also run on railway lines) and have been looking to build a truck model based on this:

http://scaleart.de/en/products/semitrailer-trucks/...

It will be modified to look somewhat like this:

All of our kit will be scaled down and machined and fabricated accordingly but we really need some 1:14.5 rail, including sleepers, track clips etc. to match.

A quick google seems to bring up model railway scales either side of this but nothing quite right. The closest are 1"12 and 1"16 listed as common north american live steam scales.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the replies.

I agree that a gauge either side of 1:14.5 would probably look right in terms of the rail profile. What I diddnt realise was that it's possible to buy the rail, rail clips and sleepers separately - I'd assumed it was like 00 and N gauge when I was a kid and the track came complete - Thus making the rails at the wrong gauge for our model.

I'll look to see what's available locally in terms of components and we can build our own track around that.

Thanks for the help!
