Lego classic F1 cars

The plans seem cheap but I wonder on the cost of the bricks.

They're of a decent size and cost not much more than a decent technic set.

My question is how time consuming is it to try and order all the bricks? I'm very tempted to buy one as a Christmas present to myself.
