I've been given the task of building a comedy airliner... something like this:

Due to all the curved sections I can't make one in wood; the only idea after that was to buy several different plastic kits and bodge them together... but that will cost too much and I'm not confident it would work.

Anything 1-2 feet long would be fine - anyone got any good ideas on how to make one please?

Isn't it going to end up looking like 5,000,000 little snowballs all stuck together? (and another 5,000,000 stuck all over my hands with static?!)

But I like the idea of carving something soft.

What about Oasis? How would I make it look smooth - a few coats of spray paint?

By god sir you may have cracked it... (ooh, free pun!) - 2" is OK, we'll just zoom in a bit more.

I'll let the creative director know rightaway!

ETA: Director says yes so Eggplane is now bought and thanks very much to Rubymurray smile

Not for a cheesy spoof home movie with a budget of £15!
