Kyosho Mini-Z

Hi all, I accidentally bought the below. It was mega cheap, and I thought it was just a normal Exige model, with slightly odd wheels until I got it home and opened it up!

Seems it's a body kit for a Kyosho Mini-Z.

I've done a bit of Googling, and it seems you can buy several different versions. In the kit I have it says you need a chassis and radio gear. Has anyone any experience of these? Just wondering whether to leave it as a model, or try and get the chassis and gear.

I'm still reading up on which chassis etc might be best for someone who wants to do a bit of radiator bothering in the front room! Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies chaps. The body only cost a fiver, and once word got out that they were RC car basis, another three mates bought one today!

So, I reckon the plan is to get it driveable and have a laugh!

I can't find just a chassis and radio kit though? So may have to buy the cheapest ready to race one and bung the Exige body on
