Safest Place to Sell Scalextric - E-Bay or Gumtree?
Discussion
I have quite a bit of this to sell, so where's the best place to sell it? I've bought loads of things off E-Bay, but never sold anything and have heard a few nightmare scenario's. What are your thoughts? Do the same problems exist on Gumtree? People trying to take the piss etc or screw you over?

Sold tons of stuff on eBay. Make sure you cover your postage costs, accept Paypal or cash on collection. What's the likely problem? Just accept that there are costs for eBay and Paypal.
Cheers RichB, I'd just heard that some people will immediately say it's not as described and open a grievance or something, or that for collection only they'll decide they want to haggle etc when they get to your house to collect. I guess as with all things, we only get to hear about the problems. But weighed against all the deals that go through without an issue, I'm probably worrying about nothing.Cheers for the tips Russy, I'll certainly get as many pics as I can up, it is well and truly used, so I'll need to be careful, most of the cars have wings and mirrors missing etc. I guess I'll just have to get as much info and as many pictures up as any limit will allow.
Want to sell to expand my lego collection, I'm getting far more enjoyment from that than I ever did from the Scalextric.
Thanks again all, you've eased my mind.
