What to do with 1500+ Lledo models?

As above, my Grandfather was an avid collector of Lledo (and other) die cast models. Days Gone, Vanguard etc.
He collected at a guess over 1500 models. He died in 2007 and the models were packed into lots of storage boxes.
There are various promotional models, buses, trucks, steam trucks horse drawn vehicles, cars etc. There are others too, Corgi models and such.
What is the best way to deal with them? My Gran ideally would like to sell them, but I can only think of ebay, which would be a full time job! I don't know what they are worth, some seem to sell for a few pounds, others for much more.
