Ferrari 250LM - Airfix 1/32
Discussion
One I started because my model club is holding a competition entitled "Civilian Vehicles".
It's the first car model I have built in a very long time. It's fairly basic - as you might expect from a set of moulds that date back to 1967. I presume it was also available in Airfix's Slot Car series - which was their rival format to Scalextric.
The plan is to complete it in the colours of Maranello Concessionaires
The model is almost finished so I will be able to [post up some pictures by the end of the week.

I was waiting for the pictures taken at my local club night to appear on the club website. However, as they haven't appeared yet, I've taken my own. Here's the finished model. The main area I'm disappointed with is that the roundels were on the thin side.
I replaced the kit wheels with better items designed for slot cars.

Next time I will definitely mask off the disc area first before painting the main colours.
