Tyres 195/50/15

1st post, straight into a question!
I need 4 new boots for my 206, done a search and the obvious choices for a hot hatch with my tyre size seems to be the Proxes TR-1 or Yoko Parada.
I've just trashed a set of Parada's after changing from Proxes and wasn't impressed, they felt too vague and unpredictable. It seems they work better on heavier cars.
Is there anything else I can consider before going for another set of Proxes? Gutted the Eagle F1 isn't available in my size anymore

These rainsport 3's are just brilliant, cost me £210 for 4 in the end from Tyre Traders (about £40 cheaper than blackcirles).
Haven't yet tried them in the wet, but dry grip is just superb and seems never ending. Very predictable, nice and light feeling. Braking is outstanding, miles better than any tyre I've had previously. Grip is improving the more I scrub them in.
The other thing I'd never really taken into account when buying tyres is the road noise. There simply isn't any! They just waft along and I can actually hear the radio on the motorway! Only problem now is I can hear all the rattles inside my french tin!
1 thing though, these aren't for heavy cars. The sidewalls are quite soft compared to other tyres I've used, which I did notice it at 1st. However now that I've used them for a while I'm used to it. I would imagine that the soft side walls would be more noticeable on a heavier car.
