Clio 172 Cup Tyre Recommendations

Hi all,

Anyone recommend a good tyre for my 172 cup?

195/45/R16

Occasional hard use on road only.

Everything I search for and find is outdated.

I really like the look of the Michelin Pilot Sport 3's but they are the most expensive (c£100 ea.) and possibly not worth it?

Yeah they'd have to have all year round usability (Summer means nothing in Wales!).

I've had some good experience with Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 2's on my old 200 but I don't think they do the size I need for the Cup...

I actually went with the Uniroyal RS3's in the end as I had them for £60 a pop.

They do lack slight feel but are outstanding in the wet, the water displacement is amazing (I know it's not the most important thing, but the tread pattern is one of the most attractive I've seen too!)

I think I might end up swapping fronts to rears and getting the PS3's when the rear Avons go, so I'll have PS3's in the front and the rainsports in the back.
