Help Needed. Alpine GTA V6 Turbo. What to look for.

Hi.

Was looking the other day and noticed that these are becoming pretty affordable, and I have liked them since they were a current model in the 80's.

I have a hankering for one and would like to get a collective view on how mental I am

A quick scan of the internets suggests that chassis/suspension turret rust is an issue along with general cosmetic condition of the plastic body. Aftermarket wheels are desirable due to the cost of OEM size tyres.

Anything Else I should look for or should I just buy a 996?
