Got a bit of a hankering for one of these to commute and trackday in, definitely a cup and hopefully with a few tasty options like the recaros and Renault monitor.

What I'm struggling with is what the 265 Cup gives over the 250 Cup, is it literally just a light remap, a few spec changes and facelifted looks? They command quite a premium so I'm wondering if the 250 might actually be the better deal. I'll probably keep it for around two years and 40 to 50k miles so less depreciation is better, but my budget could get me into a 2 year old car with the balance of the Renault four year warranty and servicing pack......

The car will be staying stock, I don't fancy putting the extra stress of remapping it and then thrapping it round the track as it will also be my daily driver. I'm probably being over-cautious, but that's just me. wink

I've found the answer - it's just a switchable remap, slightly different exhaust and the trim changes as I suspected. Renault claim to have reworked the inlet but the part numbers are apparently the same between the 250 and 265 so christ alone knows what they've done, if anything smile

That was one of the ones I was looking at, but as per usual I've done a complete 360 and am looking at something else now wink

Bloody lovely car though.
