From a 200cup to a R26 F1? Good or bad idea

Hi guys.
As title reads, I have a 200cup clio which I adore! Absolutely fantastic car, but for some very unfortunate reasons it is never going back on the road
So I am thinking of a next car.
Insurance is the big thing as I am only just turning 21. So a megane r26 f1 for price and performance looks Bang on the money. Just worried I will be disappointed? My clio was epic 210bhp, on list 1b tyres it was amazing capable!
Or would it be worth me stretching to a 250 cup? Thoughts please. Sure someone else must have done this!

I have found a few 250 cup's in my price range so I will look into them!
Yeah a crash unfortunately with a tree, love it when roads Arn't kept clean!
Yeah it's on my insurance which is a bummer, but as only 3 months into my insurance year and paid upfront they can re-open insurance with another vehicle so as to not lose money.
