2007 Clio washer pump and heater fan not working...

My Son's just got home and his washer pump and heater fan (but only on speed 4 - fastest) have stopped working.
Car is a 2007 Clio 1.4, I've checked all the fuses under the steering column but there aren't many (and none labelled for washers) all are OK, there are some big fuses in the engine bay which I doubt are for washers but they are also OK anyway.
To me there don't seem to be enough fuses, is there a 'hidden' fuse box? - I've looked behind the panels in the end of the dash (both sides) and nothing there but as it's cold and dark, I don't want to be messing around out there any more - any ideas?
