I've recently purchased a lovely sapphire blue Continental GT and so far I'm really enjoying the experience but had a couple of questions which I'd really appreciate other owners experience on ...

Fuel economy - I know this is never going to be great but has anyone looked into remapping and if so does this provide any useful benefit in this area (it's plenty fast enough so that wouldn't be my motivation!)? I've just completed a lovely run to the Lakes where I actually squeezed 20MPG from her which I thought wasn't too bad but I did wonder if this engine responded well to a little fettling in the ECU area.

Bluetooth / iPod - from what I've read this is an area where it's quite difficult to get true iPod integration and iPhone sync with the telephone kit without spending a fortune. Is there any tips or tricks to get this operational without going to Bentley?

Tyre pressures - I noticed the previous owner had the tyre pressures set too high so I've adjusted them to reflect the recommended pressures as per the sticker in the door. Having done this the fronts actually appear visually to be quite deflated but I know it's a heavy car so wanted to get others views regarding what pressures they run and what impact it has on the car (I noticed the car was quieter at the front once I'd set the pressures to the recommended level).

Exhaust - I've read it's possible to make the exhaust stay in the sport setting all the time, has anyone tried this and is it a simple thing to do and undo if required?

Any pointers, thoughts or advice would be much appreciated!

Sorry should have included those details ...

55 plate and it has 19's with 275/40's fitted.

I'll do a search to see if I can find the chipping and bluetooth info

The exhaust Klapper valve mod, (yes, that's their official name), is really simple. Just disconnect the vacuum pipe from each rear silencer and block them off with a suitable sized bolt. Job done.
Here's a link showing how; http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/bentley/350025-...

Enjoy the car.
Looks quite straight forward, have you done it on yours and if so would you recommend it?
