After running some searches on google, yielding no real answers. Could someone please tell me if they know if the bumpers from Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Mark I, can fitted to a mark II instead of the standard black bumpers?

Or can you get after market chrome bumpers to fit the RRSS MKII?

Cheers,

Q.W.

Hello Jordan,

Firstly thanks for the reply, Those pictures seem promising to me. It has been done at least!

I think, personally, the chrome bumpers are more attractive. However, I seen a very dark green shadow II, with the rubber bumpers, that actually looked nice. With the Wraith, 2 part, non-vented hubs.

The colour and hubs compliment the rubber bumpers well on the shadow in the link below.

The video title does day "Silver Shadow II" on closer inspection I think that it looks like a wraith, is it?

Cheers,

Hello OLDBENZ,

I've never looked into an American version, but that is good knowledge to know. So the American, including Japanese Variant, had more engineering about the bumper? meaning that replacing the rubber bumpers for chrome ones on a UK RR SS II would be easier (Less messing about, if still some!)?

Hello Matt5791,

I have to say it would seem most likely that the cars would have the same bumpers, purely as that would be the simplest and less fuss way. How ever, saying that... Royces don't tend to be "no fuss" in most respects!

I wonder if someone knows if the American and Japanese bumpers are the same as UK variants definitively?

Thanks,

Q
