Hi

I have a 2002 Cooper S which I am converting to a track car, I have removed a few items including:
Rear interior panels
Rear seats and seat belts
Rear wiper and boot carpet.

Now the airbag light has come on any ideas why?

Also is it worth getting a OBD reader to turn off the warning light if yes what do you guys recommend?

Many thanks

Mark

Hi thank you for the replies however I didn't see any wires connected to the rear seat belts or buckles !

Could it be because I have removed the side panels and the side impact sensors are exposed?

Hi

Thank you for the front seat suggestion as I have been in and out a lot when removing the seats, belts and interior trim!

Will check this out tomorrow and advise, if it's not obvious I will wait until I have finished my mods as the seats and steering wheel are all being changed so will need airbag delete ressistors.

Regards
