Heated screen wash jets

Hiya,
I have only had my Mini for 2 weeks and am loving it, bbuuttt I know it has been a tad cold but the heated screen wash jets don't seem to be working, I travel over an hour in the mornings and in this cold weather they are not defrosting/ spraying at all even by the time I reach my destination, just wondered if anyone else has had this issue or if I should go back to Mini??
