Diesel or Petrol

About to buy a Clubman for Mrs Cheib...undecided whether to go for a diesel or a petrol...will be either the Cooper S or the Diesel SD.

Mrs Cheib does probably 10,000 miles a year which probably means diesel but also interested in how they drive. Drove a petrol today....quite liked it but didn't get a chance to drive a diesel.

I did drive a diesel Countryman which I was very unimpressed with...awful ride and Clubman felt much superior in every way.

Petrol it is then! Given the options list ticking no bad thing to save a couple of grand.

They said it was weekend only but I'm pretty the salesman was blagging me to get the sale.

I would guess the discount would have been larger had I gone for the Cooper D or above.

I was thinking £2k should be achievable...especially given the price once the options boxes have been ticked!

Ordered a Clubman Cooper S for the Mrs. Miles bigger than then old Clubman and very close in size to the Countryman but hides it much better. Options ticking frenzy but it should be a keeper I hope!
