Altitude over Swiss mountains ?

I require info on altitude. We are ( family by car) traveling from Calais to Venice. One of the group has ear trouble at altitudes over 1100m . Does anyone know of a route over the Swiss mountains that does not exceed 1100 meters?

We travelled different route back from south France last year on advice of sat nav as accident on usual route.. We headed towards Grenoble via Aux en province. Not been that way before, it was stunning but close to our limit re altitude. Luckily the pain had only just started as we reached the top - I can tell you that prayed to God for his mercy on that day!

I have tried to find out the name and altitude of that last village to no avail

I would be grateful for a link to finding info on altitude if you have it to hand .
