Or are you considering?

I'm toying with handball and swimming. I suppose I could do it at the same time and call it water polo. But I quite like the idea of handball seeing as I can't kick a ball accurately to save my life.

Gymnastics is another one but I've kinda already been mucking about with moves at home and there's nowhere for an old git to train.

I already played badminton but the Olympics have really started people playing so I've been involved in running a social tournament and doing a bit of coaching.
That's great to hear (no sarcasm). How big was your club before and how many members does it have now?

It's not the club that I play for as we're a premier division team but I was asked to get involved as they wanted more 'young people' to get involved in the running and organisation - recently ran a really well attended tournament which fed the beginners into another local club lower down the league which has meant there isn't enough court space at club nights anymore. More needed!

Have a look here... http://www.nostringsbadminton.co.uk/
That site's quite impressive. The handball one is painful although it's improved since the Olympics. I wonder if they've missed a trick. My local club's site is a link to PDFs.

Badminton England have really gone all out and most of the no strings are franchise type deals with local coaches who run them on their behalf and in conjunction with county set ups.

It's one of those sports that I think you don't really realise how fun it is until you play it.
I used to play it (I have two rackets) but I like to try different things. I'm rubbish, really. hehe

Which club did you find out of interest? I'm interested in giving it a go myself but couldn't find a club around Hants frown

I've thought of giving floorball a go, it's basically ice hockey without ice and checking but I've not got around to it yet.

I used this: http://www.englandhandball.com/club-finder/

Congrats! Maybe you can still improve, perhaps in the technique? Would make everything better when you upgrade the ramp.
