Any NBA fans here? I'll be at the Bankers Life Field House tonight for the first leg of the Pacers v Hawks. This is where the season starts to get interesting.

We're not too fond of the Bulls here in Indy. wink Because Chicago's so close they always bring a load of obnoxious fans with them too...

I think it's doubtful whether the Pacers even get to the ECF, never mind challenging Miami. Has Hibbert even got a double double since the all star break?

There's some great action out West, pretty much any of the teams (apart from maybe Dallas) can get to the finals.
Roy has been struggling recently. The Hawks are the worst possible match up for him and for the Pacers though. Hopefully they will pull it together and get past them and then I think they'll get to the ECF. Then home court advantage will come into play. If they don't get past Atlanta I think Bird will make some changes.

Pacers need a miracle now. Basketball has taken a back seat this week thanks to the antics of Mr Sterling.........

Awesome night at Bankers Life. The Pacers really stepped up and beat the Hawks. The atmosphere was incredible as 20,000 Hoosiers cheered the blue and gold to a great victory. Bring on the Wizards!

I would be amazed if the pacers can beat Miami. They seem a mess as a team. Roy hibbert is a joke of an nba center. In any other era he would barely get off the bench. I hope the spurs win and make amends for last year. I think the thunder without ibaka are toast. Will Perkins play in his place? Haha
You're entitled to your opinion but you're talking out of your arse. Roy is a 2 time all star, including this year, and was runner up for defensive MVP this year. He's had a rough patch like most players have but he's a proven class act. Miami were beaten up today and not for the first time, we took them to 7 last year. If we win again in the field house Tuesday we'll win the series.

The Pacers have won every single game this year when Roy has scored 10 or more points. He's a key element. Tonight's crucial.

Interesting stat! Although it does highlight the fact that he scores single digit points a lot of times...
He's a center though, his job is more than just scoring. You have to look at the whole picture including the affect that his sheer presence on the court has on the opposition. The scoring is just an indicator of his form and his confidence. I think the whole team is up right now, as they were for the first half of the season. Personally I think the departure of Danny Granger, who was their leader for a number of years, had more of an effect than people will admit to. But that's gone now and they are up for the Heat without a doubt.

Not really out of my ass....got the spurs bit right! Lol ..great to see proper team basketball win. Can't stand lebron James personally. Re hibbert......well all I can say is if he isn't traded this offseason it's because he is way overpaid for his production levels. Jerome James got paid 10m a year a few yrs back after about 5 good games for Seattle so these things happen in the nba
Roy is totally different. He's a proven class act with a track record and was a proven class act when he got the big contract. That's why he was an all star again. He'll be going nowhere, I think Bird will keep the starting 5 together. And why not, for half of last season they had the best record in the NBA and finished top of the east. They are probably one signing away from having a championship winning team.

Glad the Heat got trounced, the era of the "big 3" is probably over. It was funny watching LBJ sit on the bench for the last 6 minutes of a must win game.

Do you think they will keep Stephenson? Something happened in that locker room in second half of season. I think they will let him go but will be interesting to see what offers he gets from other teams. He is a bit of a head case
I think they'll keep all of the starters but make big changes on the bench.
