I think not having a first choice spinner will really impact us in the long run. No variation and you cannot expect Ali or Root to bowl 25-30 overs between them.

We end up with the 4 quicks running in bowling the same stuff.
Wonder if Adil Rashid or Azeem Rafik will get to play for England.

Alastair Cook has gone 25 Test innings without scoring a century, if he doesn't get any big innings to his name or loses the series badly, then I think he will be stripped of the captaincy and dropped.

It is like a bowler getting the yips, he looks all over the place.

Time to sack Cook and bring back KP as Captain.
I know Cap'n Cook is having a bad run, and I know your KPs biggest fan, but remind us what KP has done in the last six months to be worthy of a place in the team. Perhaps remind us of how successful his captaincy was in the IPL
Good point, if that was to happen, it would be a step backwards for England. I hate how they dealt with KP and made him the scapegoat after the ashes, but England have to move in from KP.

James Anderson could be facing a test match ban, England are gonna be without one of their main batsmen..

When they were about 140-6, I was thinking England are gonna skittle India out for under 200, but the partnership between Rahane and Kumar has given India something to bowl at. They'll probably get to 300 tomorrow.

Said it a million times, but Cook has to get a good score tomorrow.
