Couldn't find a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or even Jiu Jitsu specific thread on here so thought I would start one.
So how many BJJ practitioners we got on here?
I started a few weeks ago as have friends who do it in both Gi and No-Gi, to my surprise was awarded my first stripe the other day, I wasn't expecting this till well after 6 months.

It's got me thinking about giving it a whirl. I've always held off starting anything due to working shifts but might see what I can do, as long as they're OK with me having to miss weeks here and there.

Trained on and off since then with Roger, Victor and Braulio but finally gave it up due to the increasing costs, 12 month contract terms and mandatory Barra Gi purchases.
