Hi,
I'm looking for some advice about suitable ear defenders for rifle shooting.
My 14 year old son is about to start going to the range (Bisley) with his grandad and I want to get him some decent ear defenders.
I've done a bit of googling and it seems that EN352-1 is the H&S standard but there is a huge amount of choice and I've no idea what to get.
Electronic or not? Minimum db? It's difficult to tell how big and heavy the ear defenders are from the pictures too. Probably want something as light as possible.

Does anyone go rifle shooting and can advise please?
Thanks.

Thanks, I think ear defenders are the way to go given his age.
I will check out the Bisley ones.

Just ordered these:

Howard Leight by Honeywell 1013530 Impact Sport Electronic Folding Earmuff

They seem to have hundreds of great reviews so hopefully they will do the job smile

Thanks Marcg, yes I went for electronic ones in the end but which still have passive protection. He also plays drums so I want to make sure he has some hearing left! smile
