I followed the Cheltenham thread with interest so thought I'd start a thread for the Grand National for anyone who wants to share tips/bets etc. I'm a fan of Willy Mullins but his entries don't sound very promising though I may have a little tickle e/w on Pleasant Company at 16/1. That said, Saphir Du Rheu sounds much better value at the same price.

Three days to go. More of That seems to be getting a lot of love and will shorten if Barry Geraghty chooses to ride it so worth a look now.

Yes let's restrict the chatter in here to the four-legged horses.

Wonder if Cue Card will make amends for Cheltenham today?

Just the one bet for me at Aintree today - Dineur 16:05 ew (14/1 with faller insurance at the moment).

Caveat Emptor wink
Interesting, I was preferring Poole Master e/w - previous winner over the course and distance, won last time out.

But 28 runners is a bit of a lottery.

Where's today's money going to be then folks?

I've got Chti Balko 18/1 ew in the 2:20, and Whisper 11/4 ew in the 2:50.

how did Rather Be only pay you £3.94 from a 50p stake?
25p e/w = 25p to win, 25p to be placed, at 11/1 with 1/4 odds per place.

win = 11 x 25p = 2.75
placed first = (11/4) x 25p = 0.69
= 3.44 profit
+ both 25p stakes returned
= 3.94 total return
