Despite The Terrible Time at the festival last year, I'm going again this year.

Episode 1 of The Terrible Time was the 3 hours spent in traffic queuing to get into the carpark.
Do any regulars (speaking as someone who's been every year for 10+ years) know THE route to pick to approach?
I'll be coming M4/A34/M3/M27 to start with. Usually come in on the A27 then past the circuit and the RR factory.

Thanks all. I was pondering getting there super early again anyway. I did this a few years back, queued for the gates to open, and it was a nice different angle to the show.

Either way I'll be going the north side for a change.

Thanks for all the input. Given the weather and The Terrible Time last year, I'm giving it a miss in the end for this year. I'd rather make sure it's great like it used to be when I go back and it'll need all the help it can get in order to do that.
