Not sure if it has already being covered on here ?
But on the 15th September for the 75th anniversary of victory in Battle of Britain, an estimated 40 Spitfires and Hurricanes and Blenheims from across the UK, USA and Europe will come to Goodwood Aerodrome !

Free Tickets are available by the website link : www.battleofbritainday.co.uk/#!viewing/c2352

Went back to Goodwood to watch these beauties take off after seeing some of them at the revival. Does anyone know if all the aircraft that took off met up at any point before continuing on their routes over Southern England. There was a rumor going around that they were to meet up over Selsey Bill, anyone got picks of all the aircraft together ?
the aircraft never meet up for one big fly over , each section once grouped up around goodwood then headed to selsey and then headed off to the planned route . the first section of the bbmf (8 planes ) was the largest group . I think a couple of smaller sections and couple of odd spits linked back up later into their route.

with the weather window that opened on the 15th , we where all very lucky to see what we did !. maybe if the weather had played along all day , the big fly over may of happened .. guess we will never know
