I do think these sort of posts lose sight of the fact that it's a FREE event. People get so worked up about their car not being accepted for this or that or being put in the paddock when they feel it should on the grid.
They moan when their MX5 gets put in a the field just because there's already 25 of them on display in the circuit. They criticise the marshals who are there to keep the traffic moving and ensure the safety of the public who bring their babies, dogs, cats aunts and grannies yet the chap in the Aussie leather bush hat has been doing the job for something like 10 years+ and probably knows more about cars than some of these moaning minnies have had hot dinners. So, next time you get a stray email or late pass remember chill - it's FREE.

You missed my earlier confession that I was tapping wildly in excitement at having my V8 645 accepted 😀Im Going, V10 Viper or V2 Harley for me
Looking forward to the rain
Do motorbike have to apply or are they let in regardless?
It was my first Breakfast meeting and it was a great day. Highlights for me were the oldies, the brown SM, discovering the magnificent Gordon Keeble and the Dino with the perfect red paintwork. The Aston Martin Vanquish x2 were a treat too.

Anyone notice my straight-4 MGB GT on the grid? XD
I thought my friend in his Alfa Junior was trying to get in too, so I followed and got in! Turns out he didn't try it, but I still managed to remain parked next to the Ferrari F12. Felt a little naughty.
Hi, was it on the chicane opposite the G55 AMG?I thought my friend in his Alfa Junior was trying to get in too, so I followed and got in! Turns out he didn't try it, but I still managed to remain parked next to the Ferrari F12. Felt a little naughty.
