Late members pack arrival
Discussion
Now April and still waiting for membership pack. Ridiculous frankly.
Club office won't consider 'lost in post'' until mid April. 'Post times vary'.....I live within 50 miles radius of the circuit and less than a mile from other members who got there packs three weeks ago.
Any one else still waiting.....?

I'm still waiting for my damn pack. Been a member for 9 years. Never seen a 'performance' like this one around renewal time. Was on waiting list for three years prior to that. Waste of money if you ask me. But once you're in, you're reluctant to let go!
Used to have a goodwood presence on this forum who could address concerns.

Thought I'd update everyone just in case the same thing has happened to others, in respect of other members still waiting their renewal packs.
It turns out, after having pressed the club for an answer as to why I had not received my pack after so long, that there was an error in the renewal process. The club advised that they had installed a new computer ('ticketing'?) system during last year. Although I have been paying by direct debit for a number of years, this new computer system drew down old bank details (from archive) of my previous bank account (which I gave up 8 years ago!), rather than the established, and current, records. I was supposedly sent an email when the club could not claim the payment from 'my bank'. I did not receive the mail (maybe went to clutter/junk) and thus I having given no reply, the membership got cancelled.
The implication is that if you have changed your bank since you became a member and you have not received your pack, it may be that the club has cancelled your membership too. The office asked me to communicate this to other members who had not received their renewal packs.
I have now had my membership reinstated by the club and had to pay via credit card for this year. I'll have to go through the rigmarole next year at renewal time of filling new direct debit forms.
FYI guys.

It's bordering on a farce now......specifically sorted the issue being that GRRC office had screwed up the renewal by installing a new computer system with a low IQ, and STILL 9 days after making an extraordinary payment and after 7 days since the pack was being 'put in the post', I await my renewal pack.
Anyone else think the GRRC has gone downhill since James McNaughton left...?
