Husband and I are attending the Revival all 3 days. We've got a good handle on what to wear. I'm wondering what we should be sure not to miss; having never been to such an event before it's hard to imagine what it will all be like. On the Sunday we splurged for the Goodwood Mess to hopefully get even more up and personal. This may well be a once in a lifetime trip for us coming from the US. We are staying in Midhurst so hopefully not much of a commute. Thank you for any tips!

Thank you for sharing the pictures; they are incredible! It is going to be overwhelming with great cars. And planes. And people.

Being regular "joes" I don't think we get paddock access generally, but should with the Mess hospitality on Sunday. At least that is how it was sold to me.

We've never been to the UK outside of Scotland, so everything will be new to us. This is going to be a great adventure1

Thanks for all the tips!

I had wondered if we needed to try to get into the Bonham auction. Is that tricky, need to buy a program?

I so appreciate all the tips, thank you!

What should we be sure to take with us? Camera, obviously. Would we want binoculars? Food? Are their prepaid picnic baskets worthwhile? Something you wish you'd thought to take with you previous visits? We're schlepping across the Atlantic and starting to think about packing for a 2+ week away.

Thanks again!

Finally got my Hospitality info in the mail yesterday! Included with the tags for Sunday is a Forward Parking sticker that says Friday - Sunday. Is it possible to use it for our non-Hospitality days, or is that just rude? Also, it says the Swing Badge is our entry ticket. We already have physical tickets for Sunday, does that mean I now have 2 extra tickets for Sunday?

Getting really excited and having fun putting the finishing touches on our outfits. Not sure we'll look as vintage as I'd hoped, but we are putting in an effort!

Thanks, y'all!!

We wondered the paddocks on Friday unchallenged. Didn't realize until later we weren't to be there. At least we weren't walking around with champagne glasses in hand as we witnessed others doing.

Finally back home after our grand adventure! Revival was, to this American, an amazing, organized, high quality event. I can't fathom an event in the US getting such a high participation rate of period dress. It was astounding from start to finish and even got a free car wash in the parking lot on Sunday, which was needed after Saturday's rain. I wish we could make it an annual event, but, alas, it can't happen for us. Enjoy what you have so near at hand!

My husband was absolutely thrilled with this event, seeing cars in person he's only ever read about before.

In my mind it was money well spent.
