I don't like the way Goodwood is going!
Discussion
Hi all,
just wondered if anyone has noticed this;
http://www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/festivalofs...
Personally i don't like the way the F.O.S is going, it's becoming far to snobbish and upper class and less for the average enthusiast (the likes of most of us). I've been going for 16 years but this could well be the last year. Aviation show for people and companies looking to purchase aircraft, i mean, come on Goodwood!. What does everyone else think?, and if i'm in the wrong then feel free to give me a paper bag to put over my head .

The Aviation part of FoS is not replacing anything that has previously been there.. It is an addition to the event. If you don't like planes - just walk past it!
Everyone surely understands that FoS is part of a business and businesses are set up (generally) to make money. If we don't continue to find new ways of generating revenue, how can we be expected to improve the event?.. There is one other way of course.. increase the price of tickets - but I guess you wouldn't like that either.

No, the tickets are expensive enough. I just think that the Festival is changing and not in a good way. Keep all that bullst somewhere that doesn't interfere with the cars and bikes we all want to see and i'll be happy . I know it will be as good as every other year.Everyone surely understands that FoS is part of a business and businesses are set up (generally) to make money.
