Now that the spring / Summer are here the Mrs and I are often cycling at the weekends. Mainly for fun, but there's a little fitness aspect in there too.
I'd like to buy her a new bike, to replace her ageing heavy Claude Butler - and have no idea what would suit her.
I've not got a great budget, lets say around £400. We tend to cycle along the roads cycle tracks mostly, with a little off road around country parks / fields etc. (Ridgeway for example).
I'd like to get her something light / comfortable. Should I just wonder to halfords at lunchtime or is there a better option ?
