Even I get tired of this kind of question - and I can't even answer them!

People tell me Cube bikes are small for their given size. For example, a 58cm Cube road bike has a 56cm horizontal TT.

Does anybody have a Cube Peloton, or similar who can advise?

I'm 5'10" (178cm) with an 80cm inside leg. I'm told I need a Cube 58, given that, generally, I fit 56's.

I would go and try one, but I can't find a 58 in real life to sit on, and just because a 56 does fit, that doesn't mean a 58 won't be better.

TIA

Sounds about right. I've had two Cube Pelotons now and both have been 60inch models. I'm 6'0".
Lovely, thanks!

I find the top tube length is the most important length to get right when buying a bike and you will find some manufactures use that as the size where as others use the seat tube length as the size
Yeah, but how can you tell if it's right?

I know about the old inside leg x 0.665 (which never seems to work), but is there a formula for the TT?

Different geometry, but my Cube Agree GTC Race is a 58 whilst my old Spesh Secteur is a 56. The horizontal top tube length on them is about the same. I'm 5' 10"
Another correct answer!

thanks smile

Right, so I bought a 58.

I'll find out in a few days whether or not it fits...
