An excellent event, and my longest ride to date.

A crap time of 6.54 but I stopped at most stops to look out for a couple of pals and I got stung by a wasp in the face! God that st hurts! Got off my bike to look for the little wker! Spent 15 minutes rubbing it with the Velcro on my glove to ease it!

Bumped into London424 (nice bloke, Bit ugly!) at the end. Pleasure to meet you, and briefly met Boardman too.

I'll stick down 6 hours for the next ballot. And if I'm in, I'll wear my new PH jersey (when certain folk get their fingers out and design it!)

Tell a lie. Mine was cancelled on the 28th. No payment due. That's the third knock back for this poxy ride! I bet my pal gets in for the third time in a row!
