How do you stop sweat pouring into your eyes?
Discussion
I went for a ride yesterday in the heat and my eyes were stinging from the sweat running down my face! I had to stop a few times to wipe my glasses down too.
What can you wear on your head, under your helmet to stop the sweat blinding you?
I've tried a headband but it was a fleecy one which melted my head.
Or should I grow an Alonso mono-brow?

A Buff works for me. If you watch the video here from their website it shows you how to wear it.
The best methods I've found are the one shown at 1:09 or the one at 1:25 depending on which helmet I'm wearing as they fit differently.

I bought a headband from Halo and it does the job of keeping sweat out of my eyes pretty well. Once the band is soaked you do get the odd trickle but it still keeps the worst of it out.

Why would you want a cap or headband making you even hotter?
It's counter-intuitive at first glance but I ride cooler when I wear a cap. It does draw the sweat out and wicks it away. I ride very hot so keeping cool is a challenge for me. In the winter I ski-tour and have the same challenge, usually climbing in just a base layer, even down to -20°C - just to give you an idea of how hot I ride. Before I started using caps I would get sweat in my eyes, the helmet would stink, my temples and forehead would get all spotty from the helmet.
Since I started riding with a cap (every ride) I've had no sweat issues, the skin has cleared up, the helmet is perma-fresh. Somebody else mentioned a huge benefit that you can just sling the cap into the wash once a week (with your gloves), which isn't something you can do with your helmet. Lastly, the peak gives shade in the sun, shelter in the rain and, when raised up, directs a bit of extra cooling ventilation across your face.
In summary: the cycling cap is one of my favourite bits of kit.

Sounds odd, but a thin line of Vaseline above the eyebrows makes the sweat run down the side of your face & not in your eyes.
I'm really suffering at the moment with this same problem - sweat in eyes that REALLY stings. I'd completely forgotten that last year I read this same piece of advice and it worked great!! Thanks for reminding me Sounds odd, but a thin line of Vaseline above the eyebrows makes the sweat run down the side of your face & not in your eyes.
