This came out on twitter earlier, Specialized Lululemon have lauched their 2015 team on crowdfunding of all places. Don't know if this is going to be a good or bad thing for them, but certainly wish them well. Currently trying to raise 1/2 their budget of $700K.

Seems to have gone down well on twitter and getting support from other lesser teams from what I've seen on messages getting recirculated.

Is this the way of less publicised sport getting funding for participants to go "pro"? I don't mean for this to read like an advert, but it struck me as bizarre for a team with 2 huge names as current sponsors to go down this route.
