As per the title..

I hate the look of saddle bags, but thinking of getting one so I don't have to carry everything in my pockets.

I have a Topeak one that has a mini tool kit and space for a spare tube and light. I'll fish out a link, it does the job, they never look very good I agree, but I don't notice it now.
Think it's a toss up between the Topeak Wedge Small, or the Specialized Wedgie Small..

One thing that annoys me about saddlebags, other than they're ugly is the rattling noise whilst riding.. I want to hear the noise of the chain, the tyres on the road, my panting lungs.. Not rattling around saddle bags.

If you cant fit everything you need in three pockets, maybe have a look at what you are taking with you and thin it out a bit, there is probably a lot of "just in case" stuff that you really dont need.

If you still need one, the topeak wedge packs with the fixed clip under the saddle are secure and good quality.
Oh no, I have lots of room.. But don't want to carry things in my pockets, with winter coming just think it'll be easier with stuff in a bag.

Tempted by the Topeak small clip on, seems most popular on Wiggle and Evans..

I've got all the tools and stuff so only need the bag.

Thanks so far!

very useful when I don't need to carry both bottles.
I like that cool
Going to get one of these when I get one of the eBay Cree lights with the external battery packs.

Going to pop into Evans and have a look at the Topeak bag, although the one linked above with the LED piping is very cool.
